Chongqing on the edge of folding
Due to the financial difficulties, Chongqing Liangjiang Athletic is likely to fold before the beginning of the season. Players & Staff have been unpaid for more than a year. If Chongqing fold, CSL will start with 17 teams rather than 18. No CL1 club will be promoted to take Chongqing's slot.
